Chief Frank Montagne
Frank Montagne has 30 plus years dedicated to the fire service. He is currently the Chief of the Department for North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue. He has served North Hudson Regional for 13 years, 10 as Deputy Chief and 3 years as Chief. North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue consists of five municipalities and is considered one of the most densely populated areas in the country. Chief Montagne started his career with the North Bergen Fire Department before the department regionalized in 1999. He was promoted to Captain within 4 years of starting his fire service career and was assigned to Ladder 1 for 10 years before being promoted to Battalion Chief. Chief Montagne has scored #1 on every promotional test that he has taken and is the co-author of “Assessment Center Management and Supervision.”
