The New Jersey Civil Service Commission has announced the dates for the Firefighter Entry Exam. All applicants should check their E Mails and register for their preferred date and location of exam. We have added a “North 3” class on October 13th. Seats are still available for that date.
Our Firefighter Entry Program has been hugely successful at producing top scoring candidates throughout the State of New Jersey. This already successful program has been further enhanced for 2018 to assure you the most comprehensive program available.
The written exam that you will be taking was developed by IOS testing. Promotional Prep has experience and success preparing students for the IOS firefighter entry exam and our program will cover both the cognitive and non cognitive components of your Firefighter Exam.
The cognitive portion will consist of Number Facility (basic arithmetic), Spatial Orientation (ability to navigate within spaces), Reading Comprehension, Written Expression and Deductive Reasoning. The Non Cognitive (personality assessment portion) consists of Situational Judgement, Behavioral Statements and Personal History Data. Our instructors will review all of these testing areas and provide you with the knowledge and confidence to assure your success on test day.
